December arrived which meant it was time for our annual Holiday Tour of Homes. The committee outdid themselves, finding 5 home owners willing to open their beautiful homes for all to see. More tickets were purchased this year than ever before, and we're looking forward to making a wonderful donation to the city of Jersey Village. Special thank yous to all who helped out - we couldn't do it without all the volunteers willing to give their time and energy to pull this event off.
Afterwards many met up at Natalita's to relax and talk about the successful tour. If you were not able to help out this year, please consider doing so next year.

This month JVWG celebrated our 5th birthday with a dinner out to Sam's Seafood and Steaks. The food and service were excellent, but more importantly, we were able to visit with friends new and old. We took turns calling out all the things we have done over the 5 years, and it was amazing just how busy we have been. Cupcakes were passed out, candles were lit and we all sang Happy Birthday to celebrate this special day.
July saw our members gather at the Civic Center to prepare treat bags for the city workers. The ladies baked cookies, which were then bagged up with ribbon and tags to show just how much we appreciate our Jersey Village workers - they're the best! After all the hard work we played a rousing game of BINGO.
